Callia, a sheltered college student at Eastern Michigan University loves living on campus, but when something unexpected happens, she learns the hard way that living on campus is not all fun and games.
She leans on Cooper, a family friend, and the one person she trusts unequivocally. Cooper, a senior at the University of Michigan makes a promise to Callia, and to her overprotective detective father, that changes everyone's lives forever.
After she moves in with him, he finds himself falling for Callia. Every choice Cooper has made since she came bounding into his life may cause him to jeopardize his dream of attending Harvard Law School.
