Electronic discovery has been described as the "disclosure or discovery of electronically stored information [ESI], including the form or forms in which it should be produced." Junk v. Aon Corp. (D.N.Y. 2007). Electronically stored information includes email, spreadsheets, word processing documents, audio, video, or any content in a digial format, including electronic medical records and electronic health records.
