She's too young to date, finds algebra difficult, is assigned two parts in the school play, and her seventh-grade friends continue to create drama.
Thankfully, her easygoing eighth-grade friend, Libby, is always there for her, and her brother's best friend, AJ, is a welcome distraction. Two teachers are also helpful. One introduces her to a word that makes a lasting impression while another provides much-needed comic relief.
Still, will she ever stop being klutsy? How can she ever get over feeling insecure? Will she eventually be allowed to date Finn? Will she make a fool of herself in the school play, or will God hear her prayers and help her to rise above it all and survive her first semester of middle school?
