This is an anthology of crime and drama written by novelist Nic Pizzolatto. The first season focuses on Louisiana investigators who are on the pursuit of a serial killer for over 17 years when a similar case occurs in 2012. The second season follows the lives of 3 cops who investigate the death of a corrupt politician, who they believe was killed by an upcoming business criminal.
